Hemp and Marijuana are not the same! Here’s the Difference.

Medical marijuana and holistic supplements made with CBD from industrial hemp are not the same – many people are yet to figure this fact. All our products are lab-tested, holistic, and legal. You can take a look at the video below to learn about the differences.

What is Cannabidiol?

Marijuana and Hemp are the two primary species of Cannabis plant. While Hemp is tall and bamboo-like with its origin in Central Asia, Marijuana is leafier and shorter.

Over 80 cannabinoids can be derived from Cannabis, and the most popular ones are Cannabidiol (CBD), and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). While CBD doesn’t cause users to be “high,” THC is known for its psychoactive effects. It can be said that cannabis plants that have high THC content are classified as marijuana, while those with THC content less than 1% are classified as hemp.

This content focuses on CBD. In the U.S, CBD is legal when it comes from industrial hemp stalks and seeds that are imported.  There is no standard CBD content in marijuana or hemp. Industrial hemp is often grown for its seeds, fibers, and other parts that are used in the production of thousands of products. These plants can give a good amount of CBD when hemp oil is extracted from them.

Many online and offline stores stock CBD rich hemp oil. However, these are seen as supplements or food and are made to support wellness and overall health activities.

Renowned universities and scientists have made attempts to study CBD, and most of these studies show that CBD has good potentials for reducing symptoms like inflammation, anxiety, and nausea, among others. FDA warns against claims about CBD’s efficacy for any health condition, and this has kept most of these studies underway.
